When they first mentioned your name it didn’t click to me that you were on The Voice!

Wow! That’s so crazy! People say that a lot!!

So you have been singing since you were nine years old and you have always made it very clear that you had a voice and you were not afraid to use it and fast forward to now your singing on The Voice. Talk to us a little bit about what stands out to you and that timeline and your experience with being on The Voice.

Well, I feel like since I have been singing since 3 was three and performing since I was nine, in terms of performance I started out performing in my area with an organization called Louisiana kids which allowed my the opportunity to compete against other kids in the state. I did that for about 8 years then I tried out for The Voice, getting to The Voice was crazy because it wasn’t new to me. I was so prepared for it so performing was not the hard part for me. It was not hard to pick songs and perform them each week. You know God always has a plan for your life and has a way of preparing you for your next state. The experience with the show was super duper positive and I love the producers there they were so amazing, it was a very good opportunity for me and that prepared me for where I am right now being a signed to a record label. I’m so blessed to have experienced that.

I saw clips of you singing on stage and I was so watching you like “Man! She is doing this like she is in her back yard! Her confidence is on Kanye!”

Sometimes I get freaked out to sing in a small room of people before I got to the voice I tried out for smaller competitions like X factor and American IDOL. Before you get to the big stage you have to sing in a room and that would make me so nervous. Give me a big stage any day that what I prefer.
